Sorry second post

So this is october 2009 my starting weight 301. Scary and crazy.

Me down 55 lbs. Still have squinty eyes and the lovely batwings everyone loves.
You can compare this one to the pic on the side of my blog. Huge difference.

I feel so proud of myself. I can not believe I am down 55 lbs. I think that is just crazy. The jeans I am wearing I bought for an AC/DC concert in the summer. I could not even get them past my knees. Now I can get them up and everything. I know I am not the fastest loser but dang I am happy with where I am. I think everyone that has a band still has to take in account their, age, metabolism, stress, hormones and so many other things. I spoke with one bandster and she was being really hard on herself, because she had not lost as much as others had. I told her she was still doing really well. We should not be hard on ourselves. We are each on our own journey and have to take into account other things going on in our lives. At first I was kind of feeling bad about my success but came to realize there are others that are doing a lot better then I am but I will still take it with where I am. I am sooooo proud.. I am also learning to accept compliments. That is a biggy for me. But always learning.

Keep your attitudes positive and keep on going.. Again happy momma's day..

  1. You are so right! We are each on our own weight loss adventure and we should celebrate (and be proud of) our losses no matter what anyone else loses or doesn't lose.

Congrats on your losses and the jeans. There is a huge difference between your before and now!

  2. You look amazing! Such a great difference in such a short amount of time!!!

  3. You look fantastic and such an inspirational post! God bless you and your family on such a special day!

  4. You look great Michelle! You are so right about not comparing ourselves to others but its so hard at times! I know I am a slow loser and I have to tell myself that I am losing and thats all that matters.

    Keep up the great work!

  5. You look great. Congratulations on your awesome loss. You should be so proud.

  6. You look awesome!! Congrats on such an accomplishment!! :)

  7. Thanks for reminding me to appreciate how far I've come. I'm a 'slow loser' too and its hard sometimes to be happy for what I've lost instead of sad about how far I have to go. And you DO look great!

  8. So great - you look so great! What a fantastic effort - you should be proud of yourself.

  9. You look amazing! I am inspired by your journey, we are all different Thank God, and we should take it easy on ourselves and let our bodies and our Surgeons teams assist us on this important journey. Thanks for sharing with us out here ;-)
