Anyone else have this issue and what did they do... I do not have the heart burn anymore just hurts to eat and drink... Curious to see how much I lost from last week to this week on the doctors scale. I am definitely showing down on mine. Will check my weight in the morning again..
I just want to find my sweat spot. At 5.20 ccs I eat smaller portions but was hungry quicker then I should have been. Every 2 hours I wanted to eat. I am defiantly not wanting food now. I do not feel hungry at all... So I am thinking I am pretty swollen.. I thinking I have been lying to myself that I did not need an un-fill but man it hurts. So off I will go tomorrow. So sad.. LOL.. My sweet spot is probably at 5.30 ccs lol.. Anyways.. Will let you know how it goes. Hope this time they get the hole right away. Cause I am still bruised from the fill. Take care all..
Bummer! I think you are doing the right thing. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteOh feel better soon sweetie!
ReplyDeleteDang that sucks! Sorry! Hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteI have been there. You'll feel so much better after. They took all mine out when I said it hurt - super sad. So look on the bright side- a little bit won't be too bad.
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem at the end of March (I wrote a post about the unfill). I was given 1 cc (total of 4) and then had problems for almost two weeks. Everything began to get stuck and I was vomiting all the time. I made him take out 2 cc because I was so miserable. I think you will be good to try the small unfill of 0.5 cc. If you are close to the doc you can then go back if it doesn't help. Your stomach is probably terribly inflammed and will take a while to return to normal. I was on fluids for 2 days after the unfill, then two days of mushies and then gradually solid food. I didn't go back for another fill for two weeks. I am back to 3cc and will go for another 0.5 cc next Monday. I don't expect to be given much more than that on any fill.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't good to be too tight. I thought I was a failure. When I read how others were getting all this fluid, I wanted to be just like them. But I guess each of us is individual and we all need different amounts. Good luck and hope you can get some relief.
So sorry to hear this! Feel better soon :)
ReplyDeleteYikes oh Yikes.. hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI think that one of the very best things about the band is that its customizable! Its not one size fits all and you can test it out at different increments to see what works best for you. If you need an unfill, it does suck, but its for the best. You don't want to hurt yourself!!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about this...I hope you will be ok soon
ReplyDeleteYou will feel so much better when you get a tiny bit out...I have had the same problem for 3.5 weeks and finally yesterday I caved... .5ml out and instant relief...I had pain even swallowing saliva! I have had great weightloss in the past 3 weeks, but through starvation and lack of water...not a healthy weightloss....I need nutrition!
ReplyDeleteI hope it gets better for you and you are able to find your sweet spot.
ReplyDeleteMy doc threatened an unfill at my last appointment, but I promised him that my vomiting was user error - I was eating the wrong stuff. Since I've been back on track, no vomiting! He said as long as I was a good girl, he'd leave it in...so here I am! I went back and forth before that appointment, though, wondering if I should get just a *little* more put into my band - when I eat the right stuff, I can pack it down! For now, I'm maintaining and have another appointment May 1. We'll see how it goes! You'll be fine - just be healthy!
ReplyDeleteYou will get there! I have my next fill booked for May 5th! I am still hungry every 2 hours...I am also getting stuck here and there. I need to chew chew chew and smaller bites! Stay strong!
ReplyDeleteIm back...I did it, became a blogger! You'll see! I shortened it to Nella!
ReplyDeleteCheers sweet thaing!
How do I add my ticker???
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a learning curve for this blogger land!
You will be fine with a little less fill! Its called a journey for a reason!
Cheer up friend!
