So here is the damage.. BOOO WHOOO... It still hurts a lot. I can not put much weight on it at all...Hopefully tomorrow I will feel a lot better... At least Len is on days off.. Poor guy gets to look after me on his days off.. Right now he is outside washing our cars because it has been such mild weather here..
Today I went and had lunch with my hubby. I had a small wonton soup and eat most of it. It is amazing a small wonton filled me up.. I am struggling with how different I feel now when I am full. I am not that full uncomfortable full. I can tell I have eaten and I can also tell that it is not my lower stomach that is full. It is hard to explain. I am really learning the whole head hungry vs. really hungry. It is really hard to over come. I do notice that I have restriction but not really good restriction because I get hungry in a couple hrs. Or is that how it is suppose to be... With the soup I had today I just eat the solid stuff out of it so no liquid and I don't drink anything for an hour to an hour and a half. Any ideas or does that mean I just need a little bit of a fill... I am at 5 ccs in a 10 cc band...
On another note man my girls room needs cleaned. I keep saying if you do not get it cleaned up I will be going in there with a garbage bag and cleaning it. When I was a kid my mom had my grandma come in and clean out my room.. We would get home from school and there was nothing left.. I must admit my one daughter is a bit of a pack rat. She does not get that from me cause I hate clutter. Maybe from my sister. LOL sorry Jess... SO I maybe hobbling down the stairs to sit and watch them clean it up tonight.. Is that fun or what. I can hear everyone saying no fair I wish that was me... LOL...
PS Day 3 of the Olympics. SO exciting...
i wish that was me...NOT!
ReplyDeleteLOL...Owww...that looks like it hurts big time!!! Rest up!
Yikes! Hopefully you are up on your feet again soon.
ReplyDeleteNice nail polish. Put lots of ice on the ankle. You should have said you were out on the slopes of Whistler watching the mogul skiers and slipped. LOL. I think you might just be a Canuck-well a BC one. You really have 6 kids-oh how do you do it! Glad to find a fellow Canadian and thanks for joining my blog. We'll be journeying with the band together so I'll be following your progress. Just starting to get hungry only a few days after surgery. Wish I could have some real food-those brownies sounded good. Heal well. Also check out Gilly's blog at http://somethingsomethingsomethingfatchick.blogspot.com/ . She is near Toronto and had surgery in Jan. 2009.
