Well for those of you that know yes I do have six children.. So here they are. The oldest are 10 a boy and girl twins, next is my 9 year old daughter, 8 year old son, 6 year old daughter and my youngest who is 5.. That makes it out to be 3 boys and 3 girls.. I gave birth or had 3 c-sections and 3 are foster children who have been with us for 7 years. One since she was 2 days old. All are in school this year. I was working for 2 years as a child protection social worker and had enough of that. 4 of my kiddies are considered special needs.. Love them all.. My hubby is a police constable and keeps pretty busy.. I am not working this year as I am focusing on getting healthy. I basically burned out at my job, I give so much of myself and forget to leave anything for myself. I had phenomena twice last year and my fybromayalgia was really bad last year. I actually finally got a diagnoses last year so it felt good to know that I was not imagining it all up.. I am so proud that I had this surgery I am down 33 lbs and am starting to get back some of me. I am struggling with the feeling of uselessness because I am not racing out to get work but then snap back to reality on the days that I become so burned out... So all my friends this is me. I am very busy but have a wonderful lovely family... I am learning about a whole new me through out this process. There will always be work out there but if I burn out or become to unhealthy then what do I do. I have to many home responsibilities.. Thanks for listening..
PS can not wait to be able to get up and start walking again.. Going to have to start small and work up again.. UGG.... I think it is from watching all the olympics has me all energized... LOL Watching the women snowboarding so cool... I can not believe how their bodies move... Crazy... Holla Canada just won gold for this event.. SO exciting..
Also my hair has started to fall out... I know this is from surgery as I have never eaten so healthy before. Maybe when I get more restriction I can blame my nutrition but not yet... I also got through a spurt in spring where I lose hair.. GOod thing I have lots of hair... LOL
Oh yeah just to add some craziness in there I had my daughter in Jan 2001 and my son in Nov 2001.. Yeah I like things a little stressful at times.. LOL
ReplyDeleteWOW! You've got a lot going on. You need every ounce of energy you can get, so hopefully with each pound lost you'll gain more energy. It's good you're able to not work outside the house, but I wouldn't say you're not working and you certainly aren't useless! Congratulations on your weight loss and your children are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou are an absolutely amazing woman Michelle. Six children!! You deserve the time off to get yourself healthy and just take time for you. I too am amazed by those snowboarders. The stamina that they have is just incredible. Congrats on the 33 pounds!! Yeah!!
ReplyDeleteOk. I think you are superwoman!! Yah for people like you who make this world and the little ones in it so great. I'm dreading the hairloss and wonder why it happens. Guess I'll have it cut short!
ReplyDeleteMichele your family is beautiful! I think it's wonderful that you're taking this time for you! It's a hard thing to do, but your family needs you healthy, good job!
