From what I understand, heartburn is an indication of being too tight. You may want to call your doctor's office and see what they think. That sucks!
ReplyDeleteit sure does. lol
ReplyDeleteYou should call your doctor and let them know what's happening. Acid reflux can cause serious damage ...
ReplyDeleteYou could be too tight or you may just be getting reflux now. I started getting it way before I was at my sweet spot, so I take protonix (prescription nexium) daily. Call your Dr. and let them know what's going on.
ReplyDeleteKeep us posted on the progress!
ReplyDeleteI agree that it sounds like you are too tight.
ReplyDeleteIt is THE most common side effect of banding. It's only a 'too tight' issue if you are having problems at night (and don't eat or drink for about 3 hours before bedtime). If you're having ANY problems at night, you need a small unfill (cough, burning, bringing up a little bile, PBing, or even just a lump in throat).
ReplyDeleteIf you're only having mild problems during the day this can be treated (I also take a daily Nexium). Do NOT let this go on too long untreated (call your Doc)...I waited the first time and it took a long time to heal the damage it had caused.
I was told by my doctor that if I have heart burn I NEED to call her because it is a problem. She definitely said DO NOT wait it out, it can cause damage. So, at least call your doctor to check!
