So much going on

So last night my hubby and I had to drive 4 hrs to Kamloops to say our goodbyes to his aunty. She had pneumonia then her kidneys shut down and then had a massive stroke. We did not get home until 230 am. At 10:00 am she passed away. Very sad she was only 70 years old. She taught 4 of our 6 children Thompson language their native language. She loved when the kids called her Ya ya which means grandma. She was such a sweet person. She will be sadly missed.

To counter balance we have a place. The rent is less then half the rent we pay on this place. It is smaller but do able. I can manage anywhere as long as my kids have a yard and it is a big yard. Bathroom is yucky but that is life will have to figure out a way to clean it up. We are just around the corner from the school. Kids can walk and come home for lunch if they feel like it. We will be in an area where there are a lot of other kids so that my kids have someone to play with. It will be great.

Band news I am down 1 whole lb. That is good. I was getting worried about that but I am all good. Down 58 may not be my goal but I will take it.

Well I am even more exhausted and will be off soon to go pick up out Denali. Man I missed it.. Still hoping to pitch the trailer up somewhere this weekend. Pray the weather changes..

Sending some blog love to everyone. Sorry I am soooo behind in everyones posts... NOt sure if I can catch up... Another good thing is high speed internet in Lillooet. Yeah... It is the little things for me..

  2. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband's aunt. She sounds like she was an amazing woman! My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

The house sounds great. Elbow grease may be just the thing to fix that bathroom but I sure don't envy you. :)

Glad you are down 1 whole pound! That's something and with needing/wanting a fill, that's awesome!

And broadband will be awesome! Yay for high speed internet!
