Why is it when you are sick you crave all the really bad things... I am sick.. I kept awake most of the night with boogers plugging up my band. It was nasty on top of already being congested. I really wanted to go to my exercise class but did not want get sicker then I am. I have a low grade fever and tightness in my lungs so I am going to do my best to baby myself so I am ready for my first day of work. So anyways I am going back to my friend the couch but I promise to be back at it on Monday. I hate the beginning of flu season. Yuck.

Take care all.

And Lori I will be giving that prilosec however u spell it a try. Do I need a prescription?

  1. Hope you feel better soon! Prilosec (or omeprazole) is available without a prescription. I've been taking it for months because of an ulcer.

  2. Sigh - poor you. The coming of winter is a bitch. Feel better soon x

  3. Ugh, good choice to rest and not work out though! Don't push too hard, maybe some chicken soup. Its so cliche but it always helps me.

  4. Yeah, prilosec is an OTC. You can get a stronger prescription strength but the OTC is quite fine and a lot more affordable.

I hope you feel better soon. Such a bummer! I am about a week past my first cold of the season and it brought with it my very first cold sore (which I got from my husband). I HATE cold sores. I lived 35 years without them and would do anything to never have another one. GRRR..

    Anywho, feel better soon!

  5. Poor thing :( I never thought about how miserable a cold might be with a band. I know for me, when I am sick, I seek comfort in food for sure. It's like my brain tells me that food will be the bright spot of an otherwise miserable day.

I hope you feel better soon! Rest up :)

  6. My throat hurts and I am feeling icky! Hope you feel better soon!

  7. I am with you on that. Whenever I am sick I always end up eat the worst things.

    Hope you feel better soon.
